Alm summer from May to September in the National Park Hohe Tauern   

 In the surroundings of Zell am See - Kaprun you will also find plenty of cosy huts which offer typical Austrian specialities.
The “Sennen” dairy/ farm people of the mountain huts serving food are happy to treat hikers to a hearty snack.
On the menu are such delights as fresh mountain butter and sour cheese, home-made bread and, of course, the traditional spirits "Stamperl Schnaps”.
During a pleasant rest on the terrace, you can watch the cows in the meadows and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Harvest festival  September / October

Harvest Festival is celebrated, as the name suggests, at harvest time, with over 2,000 special events throughout Salzburg.
