The 3K K-ONNECTION OF THE FUTURE
Directly from Kaprun with two new cable cars to the Maiskogel and from there quickly and comfortably to the Langwiedboden to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area.
That means: ski-in-ski-out, 100% guaranteed snow from October to spring and a wide range of new offerings – invaluable advantages that further strengthen the status of Zell am See-Kaprun as a top destination in the Alps. For family holidays as well as for demanding winter sports and high alpine sightseeing up to TOP OF SALZBURG at 3,029 meters.
Since December 2019, a state-of-the-art tri-cable gondola, the 3K Kaprun-Kitzsteinhorn-K-onnection, has connected the Maiskogel with the Kitzsteinhorn. With this K-onnection, the Maiskogel family ski area merges with the Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area to form a fascinating unit. But it’s not just this additional, second access to the Kitzsteinhorn that makes a holiday in Kaprun even more attractive. The Maiskogel also shines in new splendor.

The Kitzsteinhorn summit station at 3,029 meters above sea level is not only the highest point in Salzburger Land that is easily accessible for everyone, but also a highlight of the Alpine offering.
