What many people don’t know yet, but we are certain: Experience the fifth season up close in our apartments. The Salzburger Land and all its wonderful regions naturally celebrate this accordingly, with all the tradition we can offer.
It’s time to bring in the harvest. To celebrate festivals as they come. And above all, time for enjoyment!
In short: Bauernherbst is coming!
The country is transformed and shows the rural life that we value and love so much in traditional demonstrations. You can be there live at the Bauernherbst by taking part in traditional events, cooking courses and traditional crafts.
You can also expect traditional and regional delicacies to please your taste buds!
THE SALZBURGER BAUERNHERBST
The fifth season begins at the end of August and we all celebrate a big festival. But it is also important that we warmly invite all guests to be there.
Music, dance, good food, traditional costume, club life and crafts are the focus.
BAUERNHERBST IN A MUSICAL SENSE
Folk musicians, alphorn players, yodelers, Gstanzlsinger and many more perform the craft they have learned. Real folk music in the spirit of the Bauernhebst. Hikes with music and cozy get-togethers probably describe one facet of the Bauernherbst. Here you can experience the Salzburg tradition up close.
CULINARY BAUERNHERBST
Regional dishes are on the menu for our farmers.
Erdäpfinidei, Salzburg beer meat dumplings, freshly harvested Lungau eachtling, game dishes of venison and deer or sweet farmer’s doughnuts. Just convince yourself and immerse yourself in this culinary world! If you love traditional food, these festivals are probably the best place for you.

Customs, traditions or lived craftsmanship. There is no saving on the Bauernherbst. Here you can also see the beauty of our region and our country. We are happy to let everyone take part.
