While bathing, sailing and surfing you explore the region from the water. From nowhere you can enjoy better views of nature and the mountains than the middle of the lake. In summer you can enjoy a great time in the beach baths of Zell am See, Thumersbach and Schüttdorf. Otherwise the Hinkelsteinbad in Piesendorf or the Niedernsiller lake is a very good destination to swim. You can set off on boat tours, sailing trips or swimming in the lake.
Private, motorized boats are not allowed on Lake Zell, so we get its drinking water quality.

NIEDERNSILLER LAKE
An idyllic nature bathing lake with its generous lawns is THE attraction for water rats of all ages. For the little ones: They can enjoy the water in the heated children’s pool or in the isolated non-swimmer area with a waterslide. The bathing facility with a water area of 16,000 m² and a lying area of 15,000 m² is very idyllic and quiet. At this lake the water temperature in summer is around 23 ° C. So this lake is a good idea for the topic water and swimming in our region.
Directly adjacent is the protected landscape section “Luzialacke” and the leisure center.

KRIMMLER WATERFALL

One highlight and attraction is the Kaprun high mountain reservoirs with their two reservoir lakes, waterfall and mossy soil, at around 2,040 meters above sea level combine technology and nature.
